Grab your Eliptical Marquee Tool from your tool box. See below
Hold down shift and click drag to create a perfect circle selection on your canvas. This will be the shape of your candy.
After the circle selection is created drag it to the right position (center it).
Invert the selection Ctrl + Shft + I
Hit Delete Deselect (Ctrl + D) Your canvas should now look like the one shown below.
Click on the Add Layer Style () button at the bottom of the layers pallete. Select Bevel and Emboss. Apply the settings shown below and click OK.
Finally click on the Add Layer Style button one more time and select Colour Overlay. Change the colour to a grey (#e5e5e5) and make the mode multiply, then click OK. See image below. This is just to get rid of the absolute white on the candy so that we can add white highlights.
Now is probably a good time to remind you to Save.
